terms of service

what you are agreeing to

Founditory is a workspace to shape and share startup ideas, for students and recent graduates. It is run by Asad Usman. You are contracting with Asad Usman when you use the service. Creating an account or continuing to use Founditory means you accept these terms.

your account

Your account is for one person. Do not share it. Keep your login safe and your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 and have legal capacity to accept these terms, or permission from a parent or guardian where needed.

your content, our service

You own your ideas and the content you bring to Founditory. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it so we can provide the service and show it to the people you choose. You must have the rights needed to upload it.

As between you and us, we do not claim ownership of your AI inputs or outputs. Rights in AI outputs are also subject to the provider's terms and applicable law. Founditory's software, documentation and branding belong to Asad Usman. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

acceptable use

Do not post illegal content, infringe intellectual property or privacy, send spam, commit fraud or harass people. Do not spread malware, probe our security, scrape the service, disrupt it or circumvent usage limits. Do not resell access or reverse engineer the service where the law allows us to prohibit it.

AI features must not be used for illegal content, hateful abuse, deceptive deepfakes, malware or bypassing safeguards. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter AI outputs, and suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules.

public ideas

You are responsible for what you choose to share publicly. Check the fields and sections you share before making an idea public. We may remove content that breaks these terms. To report a rights infringement, email hello@founditory.com with the content location and details of your claim. Repeated infringement can lead to account termination.

AI connections and outputs

If you connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or another supported AI client, its terms apply to your use of that service. Founditory provides only the context you request through the connection, within your access permissions. Mentioning a provider here does not promise that every provider supports the connection.

You are responsible for your prompts, your rights to input content and how you use outputs. Built-in AI features process the relevant content when you ask for feedback, research or meeting notes. Outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify them before use. They are not a substitute for supervised legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.

ending access

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@founditory.com. Ask for an export before deletion if you need to keep your work.

We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security or fraud risk, or serious or repeated policy violations. When access ends, we handle your data according to our privacy policy and any legal retention obligations.

changes to the service and terms

We may change features or these terms as Founditory develops. We will notify you of significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after updated terms take effect means you accept them.

availability and disclaimer

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Founditory is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

governing law: Dubai, UAE

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Dubai, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights or a different forum.
